 The Sunglo Model 244 Series hanging heater is a perfect option when space is a concern. It take up no floor space, and is perfect for most high ceiling installations. It provides a large footprint of radiant heat with the flick of a switch (or manual operation, your choice) and requires very little servicing.
This heater features a long lasting black powder coating finish, four decorative scrolls, and a sturdy frame design.
The coating makes this heater easy to clean as well. The cylinder shape and umbrella like reflector emit a dome of radiant warmth up to 15 feet in diameter. Radiant heat is absorbed by solid objects, materials and people, not the air itself, making it more consistent in the heat it provides.

Model A244:
The Model A244 needs no electrical connection making it the easiest to maintain and service. It uses a pilot-thermocouple 100 percent safety shutoff. The pilot must be lit manually. There is a knob for turning the heater on or off at the front of the heater.
Model A244V:
The Model A244V requires a 24 VAC connection in order for the heater to operate. It uses a pilot-thermocouple 100 percent safety shutoff. The pilot must be manually lit, and the heater is turned on or off with a control device that must be installed. The manual control knob needs to be in the "on" position in order for the heater to operate with an electric switch.
Model A244E:
The Model A244E requires a 24 VAC electrical connection in order for the heater to operate. This heater uses electrical ignition and monitors the heat with flame rectification. These type of heaters cannot be manually lit. The heater uses a control device such as an electrical switch to turn the unit on or off.
